We have since changed location, but Trois-Rivières is an excellent place to stop over for a few days. Near St-Quentin Island, there is a popular anchoring location with a great beach. Across from the anchorage, there is a large theater. You can bring your dinghy over and get access to downtown from there. The city has kept a classic architecture reminiscent of Europe. There is also a small marina on the Island which lets you use their bicycles freely if you stay over night.
